Enhancements

  • Provider Portal Administration User Roles can now be allowed to view only selected Clearwave Reports (payment, eligibility, etc.). 
  • Provider Portal Administration Rules have been enhanced so that logic/notifications work with any field that the patient did not enter a value.
  • Kiosk English, Spanish, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Chinese languages have been updated for grammar and aesthetics.  

Bug Fixes

  • Kiosk Instances of Russian kiosk sessions displaying distorted final screens have been resolved.

Enhancements

  • Kiosk Animations explaining how to correctly place driver’s license and insurance cards into scanner have been updated.  
  • Kiosk / Provider Portal If scanning of driver’s license is unsuccessful at kiosk, the incorrect image will not be sent to Provider Portal/Practice Management System and a message will display in Provider Portal under the driver’s license viewer pop-up.
  • Provider Portal A report detailing the number of eligibility transactions is now available under the Reports Tab, which can be queried by day, month, and year.

Highlights: February 05, 2016

Enhancements

  • Kiosk / Provider Portal Administration  Multiple selections can now be made for multiple choice custom fields (i.e. multiple selections can be made when entering race, etc.).  The number of selections allowed, up to 6, is set when creating the custom field.  
  • Kiosk   Insurance and Payment can be turned on/off based on Appointment Type (i.e. Workers Comp appointments will not be asked for insurance).  
  • Provider Portal  Column has been added to Appointment Search page displaying the date/time eligibility was run for each patient. 
  • Provider Portal  Multiple selections entered for multiple choice custom fields will be displayed under the patient’s demographic/financial summary in the Provider Portal. 

Bug Fixes

  • Eligibility  Instances of incorrect copay amounts for Viva Health have been resolved.  
  • Kiosk  Missing translations for various languages have been resolved
  • Provider Portal Administration  Error messages when creating new Custom Fields with certain input lines blank have been resolved.  
  • Provider Portal  Instances of insurance not updating when demographic information is updated have been resolved.  
  • Provider Portal  Hovering over Appointment column on Checked-In List now displays correct information.

Highlights: January 22, 2016

Enhancements

  • Provider Portal Administration  Prohibit late and early check-in’s setting can now be set per location and for appointments within a set time period or for the entire day. 
  • Provider Portal  Payment reports will now display the alternate patient ID for clients who utilize alternate patient ID’s. 
  • Provider Portal  Clients utilizing the Swipe and Hold function will now be able to export to easily determine which patients have agreed/disagreed.   
  • Provider Portal  Appointment searches can now be filtered based on insurance, so that specific payers can be searched.

Highlights: January 07, 2016

Enhancements

  • Insurance Eligibility - Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) rule changes to data encryption and authentication (CMS Authentication Standards Version 1.3) have been implemented and are HIPAA compliant.  
  • Kiosk - Static instructions for scanning Driver’s License and Insurance Cards have been updated to reduce confusion over orientation of cards. 
  • Provider Portal - Expirations can now be set for tasks, i.e. tasks can be set to appear annually, monthly, every visit, or only once.
  • Provider Portal Administration  When Check In All Appointments For Current Day setting is enabled and a patient arrives early/late for one appointment, the option of allowing/disallowing check in for remaining appointments is now available. 

Bug Fixes

  • Integration - Instances of incorrect patient tracking status changes (when the changes occur with little time in between) have been resolved.  
  • Kiosk -Patients that ‘Prefer Not to Answer’ built-in fields will not be asked again on subsequent visits when using Express Check In. 
  • Provider Portal Administration - Editing rules on Custom Fields for Reason for Visit will show current selections while in edit mode.
  • Provider Portal - Error upon saving new appointment notes has been resolved.

  • Provider Portal 3.0 - Custom Forms have been reformatted to show the same format the patient sees on the kiosk
  • Provider Portal 3.0 - Walk-in appointments will be updated with current-day visit information if the appointment ID does not match to an existing appointment in Clearwave 
  • Kiosk 3.0 - Reason For Visit kiosk setting "Check-In As Walk-In" will treat the check-in as a walk-in, ignoring appointments scheduled for that day

  • Eligibility - If the gender is "unknown", Clearwave will not send that information to the payer to avoid rejection of eligibility request
  • Eligibility - BCBSSC copay logic has been fixed to display correct copay for Primary Care Provider
