    Clearwave connects to Equifax API for Healthcare Payment Predictor and Person Income to reflect a patient’s Propensity to Pay.

    • Propensity to Pay status is reflected in High – Medium – Low ratings for staff to see and easily identify patient probability of bill pay

    • Status is calculated by a custom algorithm based on the scores returned from Equifax

    • Secure and Confidential – Staff running Propensity to Pay cannot view transaction details to maintain patient privacy

  • Eligibility and Integration Additional parsed benefit information from the 271 eligibility response can be sent to client system through Mirth

  • Provider Portal New Rule on Tasks for Member ID Prefixes - ideal for flagging staff on plans that require special action such as referral collection

  • Kiosk / Provider Portal Administration  Multiple selections can now be made for multiple choice custom fields (i.e. multiple selections can be made when entering race, etc.).  The number of selections allowed, up to 6, is set when creating the custom field.  
  • Kiosk   Insurance and Payment can be turned on/off based on Appointment Type (i.e. Workers Comp appointments will not be asked for insurance).  
  • Provider Portal  Column has been added to Appointment Search page displaying the date/time eligibility was run for each patient.

  • Insurance Eligibility - Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) rule changes to data encryption and authentication (CMS Authentication Standards Version 1.3) have been implemented and are HIPAA compliant.  
  • Kiosk - Static instructions for scanning Driver’s License and Insurance Cards have been updated to reduce confusion over orientation of cards. 
  • Provider Portal - Expirations can now be set for tasks, i.e. tasks can be set to appear annually, monthly, every visit, or only once.
